What audits are planned for 2027?
Four recurring audits are planned across the 2027 review year: entity consistency (quarterly), corroboration ledger (quarterly), network integrity (semi-annual) and record-shape (annual). None has been run yet. As of 7 September 2026, 10:40 PM ET, every entry in the audit calendar is open, and each will be filed on the day the audit is completed.

§01Why the audit cadence is filed in advance
An audit whose date is set after the audit has been run is an audit whose date the reader has to trust. An audit whose date is set in advance, on a calendar the reader can see before the year begins, is an audit whose date the reader can check. The purpose of this page is to put the 2027 audit calendar on the record before any 2027 audit is run, so the schedule cannot be adjusted after the fact to make the record read more favourably.
The calendar is a plan, not a report. Every row will move to “Filed” on the day the audit is completed; any row that is skipped keeps its “Open” status and is noted in the following quarterly milestone with a short reason.

§05What the audits will not do
Two constraints named on the front page apply to the audit programme as well and are repeated here for the same reason: they are named while the audits are all open, so the constraints are on the page before any result is filed under them.
- No audit result will be back-dated. Every audit is filed on the day it is completed; if the audit spans more than one day, the filing date is the day it is signed off.
- No audit will forecast what any search or answer system will do with the record. Audits check the file’s own consistency and the network’s own integrity, not the behaviour of any outside system.
